Information sessions by the Dutch Anti-Doping Authority (Dopingautoriteit): come along!

Doping controls will be carried out on a structural basis in combat sports. From club championships in the village hall to world title fights in Ahoy. Make sure you are well informed.
It is important that everyone in combat sports knows what doping is and how doping control works. That is why the VA and the Dutch Anti-Doping Authority (Dopingautoriteit) are organising information sessions at various locations across the country. The first was held recently at Sportcentrum Papendal near Arnhem. A number of further sessions will follow in the coming months.
All gym owners and competitive fighters are encouraged to attend. The Dopingautoriteit will share all the information you need, for youth and amateurs as well as for elite athletes. You will of course also be able to ask all your questions about matters such as supplements, medication use and your rights and obligations. Admission is free.
Update 1 December 2021: the sessions planned for December have been cancelled as a result of the new coronavirus measures. It is not known whether new sessions will follow shortly. Keep an eye on our news page for updates.
By the way, have you already completed the e-learning modules on doping? They are informative and free, and on completion participants receive a certificate from the Dopingautoriteit.
