On Tuesday 17 November, the government announced that the temporary tightening of the coronavirus measures will not be extended. For the martial arts sector, this specifically means that group training sessions are permitted again from 19 November. A maximum of thirty people may then train in one space, provided they observe the one-and-a-half-metre rule.
On 4 November, the government tightened the coronavirus measures. This was in response to a rising number of infections in society. The main consequence was that group classes were no longer permitted. This additional set of measures applied for two weeks and will therefore not be extended.
From Thursday 19 November, the martial arts sector returns to the measures that had already taken effect on 14 October. You can find them in the Martial Arts Training Protocol (Protocol Vechtsporttraining).
