Last Friday, another course for confidential counsellors in combat sports took place in Arnhem. They will be the first point of contact for people within our sports who face transgressive behaviour.
The course was first offered last year on the initiative of the VA. Sixteen people from the sector were trained as confidential counsellors at the time. Last Friday, another thirteen participants completed the training.
The VA welcomes the fact that the combat sports sector is gaining more points of contact for people who experience misconduct.
