Liability insurance for gym operators

One of the requirements of the Keurmerk Vechtsportautoriteit (the Dutch Martial Arts Authority quality mark) is liability insurance for the gym. Most gyms have already arranged this. Gyms that are still looking for an insurance company may wish to consider Everion.

Everion provides liability cover for activities relating to full-contact martial arts such as kickboxing, Thai boxing and MMA. Gyms that hold the Keurmerk Vechtsportautoriteit, or that are about to obtain the quality mark, receive a more comprehensive package. This also covers, for example, offering classes outside the gym's own premises.

Far from all insurers provide their services to gyms that offer martial arts classes.
