Survey among martial arts gym owners: make your voice heard

The Mulier Instituut (sports research institute) is studying the consequences of the coronavirus crisis for sport. The study is commissioned by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport). It is carried out in cooperation with, among others, NOC*NSF (Dutch Olympic Committee and Sports Confederation) and the Platform Ondernemende Sportaanbieders (platform for commercial sports providers). The Nederlandse Vechtsportautoriteit (Dutch Martial Arts Authority) is also taking part. It is important that martial arts gyms are heard as well.

The study covers:
– financial consequences
– consequences for the number of members
– consequences for staff
– expectations for the future

Gym owners can complete the questionnaire up to and including 14 April. Use the ‘back’ and ‘next’ buttons to move through the questionnaire. Please note: answers are not saved along the way. The questionnaire can therefore not be closed halfway through in order to return later. Answers entered earlier would then be lost. So complete the questionnaire in one go. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes.

All information is treated confidentially. The information is processed into statistics. Data on individual businesses cannot be traced. Nor is it shared with other organisations. The privacy guidelines of the Mulier Instituut can be found here.

Once the entire study among martial arts gyms has been completed, the Nederlandse Vechtsportautoriteit will publish the results.
