By ‘personal data’ we mean the information you provide to us about yourself. For example your name, email address and telephone number in our contact form. You provide this entirely voluntarily.
Purpose of processing and storing personal data
Your data and how we use it
If you complete a contact form on our website, we only use your data to inform you or to call you about the matter for which you completed the form. Each form only asks for data that is necessary. We therefore never ask for information that is not needed. Providing your data is always voluntary.
The forms are intended to give you information or to answer your question. In most cases we only ask for your name, email address and telephone number. That allows us to contact you.
Once we have received your data, we will contact you by email or telephone to provide the information you requested.
Retention period for personal data
Personal data is not stored for longer than necessary. For the contact form, data is erased 12 months after it has been provided.
Security
Your personal data is secured. We aim to keep the risk of loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure and alteration as small as possible.
Provision of personal data to third parties
The Vechtsportautoriteit works with third parties. For example the administrator of our website and the sender of our newsletter. A so-called processing agreement (verwerkersovereenkomst) has been concluded with these parties. Among other things, this agreement covers the security and timely erasure of your personal data.
Right to access, rectify, withdraw or erase personal data
We would like to point out that, on request, you can access, rectify, withdraw and/or have erased from our database the personal data we have stored. To do so, send an email to info@vechtsportautoriteit.nl.
The right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens)
Do you disagree with the way we handle your data? You can then lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via https://autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl/
