Fightpassport holders must consent to doping controls

Doping controls are now being carried out in combat sports. It is important that all competitive fighters are aware of this and consent to it. If they do not, their VA number is no longer valid and they can no longer compete in matches in the Netherlands.
To consent to possible doping controls, all competitive fighters must log in to the Fightpassport (the digital fighter passport).
LOG IN HERE. Once you are logged in, the steps speak for themselves.
The user name is the fighter's VA number, for example VA08957. If the athlete no longer knows his or her password, it can be requested during the login procedure.
E-learning from the Dopingautoriteit (Dutch Anti-Doping Authority)
It is important that competitive fighters know what doping is and how a control works. They are therefore encouraged to take part in this short online course from the Dopingautoriteit. It is free of charge and on completion participants receive an official certificate.
Keurmerk Vechtsportautoriteit mandatory
Apart from the introduction of doping controls, something else is changing. From 1 September 2022, only gyms holding the Keurmerk Vechtsportautoriteit (the quality mark of the Nederlandse Vechtsportautoriteit) may take part in matches in the Netherlands. Does your gym not yet hold the Keurmerk? Then ask your gym whether they are going to obtain the Keurmerk in time. That way you can also take part in matches after 1 September.
